Privacy
Pacific Gyan is free to read and download. You do not need an account, and we do not run ads or sell data.
What we collect
Note requests. If you send a request, we store your message and, only if you choose to give them, your name and your email or WhatsApp. We use them to decide which notes to write and to reply to you.
Read and download counts. We add one to a counter for a note when you open it or download its PDF. The counter holds no information about you. Your browser remembers locally that it already counted, so one person is not counted many times in a day.
Searches with no results. We keep the words searched, without any link to you, so we can see which notes are missing.
On your device
Your saved notes, progress ticks, theme and text size stay in your browser's storage. We never receive them. Saved notes can be kept on your device for offline reading.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. If privacy-friendly traffic statistics are switched on, they count page visits without tracking you across sites.
Other services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google can see your connection address when a page loads. The site is hosted on Render, images come from Cloudinary, and counters and requests are stored with Supabase. If a note links to Google Drive or another cloud service, that service has its own privacy rules.
Your choices
To have a request you sent removed, use the request form and tell us what to delete.
We may update this page when the site changes.
